Sunday School

We have classes for children, youth, and adults that focus on the Word and how we need to use it in our daily lives. Living in today's world is challenging and we need the wisdom provided through God's Word.

Sunday Morning Worship

In Sunday worship, we focus on worshiping the Lord in Spirit and in Truth. We do this through music that inspires, prayers that honor God, scripture reading that recognizes the whole counsel of God, and messages that begin with the Word of God and mines principles by which to live our daily lives. All people are welcome in our service.

Bible Study

Throughout the week there are additional opportunities for small groups to study God's Word and enjoy fellowship and a common mission together.

Who We Are

We are a church with a mission. Our focus is to Share Christ, Make Disciples, and Grow the Fellowship. We strive to tell people about the Good News, the gospel of Jesus Christ. When a person comes to faith in Christ, we then help them grow in their faith. In the process of worshiping and studying God's word together, we expect God to grow the church. It is God's church, not our own!

Sugar Creek Baptist Church is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention through local, state, and national partnerships. Through these partnerships we are able to have a mission's focus that is both local, national, and worldwide.

We subscribe to the Baptist Faith and Message as our doctrinal basis.

Joining our Church

People seeking to become a part of Sugar Creek Baptist Church must demonstrate a changed life through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as their savior and Lord. They demonstrate that changed life through baptism that represents the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. If the candidate has not experienced baptism by immersion in a like-minded church, they will be asked to submit to baptism generally in the context of a worship service.  Each person will be challenged to grow in Christ through regular Bible study, prayer, and worship. In addition, each person will explore ways they can serve their church through various ministries of the church.
